This is an exact replication of the love bead necklace worn by Jim Morrison of the Doors, during the famous Young Lion Photo Shoot by Joel Brodsky in September 1967. A faithfully handcrafted recreation of the famous love bead necklace worn by Jim Morrison in famous photo's from the 1960's. The pattern and colors I use for my Jim Morrison bead necklaces are exactly the same as what Henry Diltz used when making Jim Morrison's love beads. This necklace is often referred to as the Cobra necklace or the American Poet necklace. I assure you this is by far the most faithful and most authentic recreation of Jim Morrison's beaded Young Lion/Cobra necklace available anywhere in the world.
I have personally hand selected the highest quality Czech seed beads and use the best and strongest nylon cord for bead making in order to make this necklace. This is the original version with the original colors of white, green, brown and black and is a 100% exact replica.
The length is about 27" long. I can make them shorter/longer per request. I personally tie a simple knot at the end so that you may shorten it if you choose and or add a clasp. Jim's necklaces were just tied with a knot which I recommend. All necklaces are hand made by me in the USA.
